We are a fun and friendly group of like-minded individuals who absolutely love the art of recreating everyday items & dioramas on a small scale. We enjoy exploring new techniques and use our twice-monthly meetings to run workshops to share what we know with our fellow fiddlers. We work throughout the year towards one major project that we exhibit at Spring Miniatura and other local dollshouse fairs.
Full support will be provided to anyone who wants to start exploring this enjoyable hobby in a no-pressure environment. The things we make are suitable for all levels and do not require lots of expensive tools or materials - in fact we love to recycle paper, card, packaging & other bits of household junk where possible to create our miniatures.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Townsend Memorial Hall in Clifton On Dunsmore, Rugby, 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We charge a small fee of £4 for each session which includes coffee/tea & biscuits.
Please email Tina Batey on email@example.com for further information about Small Scale Fiddlers and what we do. We are always pleased to welcome new members so do get in touch. Your first ‘taster session’ with us is free with no obligation to join our group if it’s not for you.
Come and see us at Spring Miniatura
In March 2019, Small Scale Fiddlers will once again be showing our work at Spring Miniatura on one of the club display stands. This will be our fifth time at Miniatura and we have chosen a book theme this year which we are calling "Tall Tales & Short Stories". We have been working on the project all year and are very excited on how it is coming together. Do come and see us on our stand - we are always up for an informal chat about all things miniature over the show weekend. We will also be running a miniature workshop on both the Saturday and Sunday of the show.
