The British Polymer Clay Guild

Demonstrating the use of polymer clay in making miniatures.

Founded in September 1997  the British Polymer Clay Guild is open to anyone who is interested in polymer clay; from beginners to professionals. Members include miniaturists, jewellery makers, sculptors, doll makers and anyone else who works with polymer clay. Membership is open to anyone who wants to learn more about this remarkable medium.

The Guild is growing rapidly and it is hoped that the members will guide the way it develops. We value contributions from members, love to receive comments, reviews, tutorials and photographs of  their work. The Guild is run by a voluntary committee of officers. New committee members are always welcome and you do not need to be a professional artist to have a say in the running of the Guild. We also have a presence at prestigious arts, crafts and hobby shows.

Allan Marshall is a long time member of the guild and specialises in making miniatures. As well as organising the guild’s stand at both Hobbycrafts and Miniatura shows, he also runs workshops at Miniatura, Dolls House Clubs and at the Midlands branch of the guild.

A show for everyone who loves miniatures. Started in 1983 and currently at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK twice a year. The show regularly features the finest miniature craftspeople from around the world.
