A House Of Wonders

Curiosities, miniatures & doll house Accessories inspired by myth, magic, & the natural world.

A House of Wonders was born from an exhibition of the same name at the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery. Amazed by the miniature creations in the collection, I was inspired to create my own cabinet of curiosities and so, I took a leap from ceramic bead artist to working in mixed media creating miniatures inspired by myth, magic, and the natural world.

I am self taught and make and sculpt everything by hand, from my miniature Raku fired ceramic pots and the plants that fill them, to fairy rings filled with magical mushrooms. You can find all sorts of quirky props, novelties and accessories for display, or use in your miniature home.

This is my first time at Miniatura and I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and sharing my work. I hope you’ll come and say hello at A House of Wonders.

A show for everyone who loves miniatures. Started in 1983 and currently at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK twice a year. The show regularly features the finest miniature craftspeople from around the world.
