My dolls are made from commercial moulds made by doll artists in the U.S.A. and U.K. All dolls are made from porcelain and, after preparation, fired in a kiln. The dolls are then china painted and re-fired up to four times. Care and dedication goes into each and every doll. All costumes are 'one of a kind' made from silks, antique laces and cottons dressed as authentically as possible. Dolls dressed from Marcia Backstrom Kits now available.
