DESCRIPTION

Kim Selwood makes miniatures of 'classic pieces' of twentieth century furniture including Art Deco, the Arts and Crafts and Modernist movements. His work includes furniture based on the designs of Pierre Chareau, Eileen Gray, Gimson, Godwin, Voysey, Mackintosh, Wright, Rietveld, Mies van der Rohe, Corbusier, and contemporary designers.

Kim works in wood and metal and much of his modern furniture is chrome finished with leather upholstery. He works at 1:12th scale but also, on request, at 1:24thscale. He undertakes 'one off' commissions and is always interested in making new designs.

Clients include museums and private collectors in Europe, U.S.A. and Japan.
