Workshops before and after the show

Each Miniatura show not only features workshops at the event itself but it also becomes a focus for some of the best makers and tutors in the world to run workshops leading up to and after the show. Any workshops we hear of will feature on this page with links to their respective sites. Further down the page is a quick guide to what you can expect to see at the show itself.

Workshops and Demonstrations at the show

The features area at the Spring Show earlier this year certainly proved that visitors love to get involved and many of them went home with their very own first ever "mini-make". This was a first for Miniatura in Birmingham as well and we hope to build on the experience.

This Autumn keep your eyes peeled for the following stands who will all be doing something a bit extra!

Josephine Parnell - Demonstration of how to make miniature bear kits.

Warley Model Train Show Stand

British Toymakers Guild - Plenty of information for toymakers and display of members work.

Pendon Museum

Polymer Clay Guild - Sit in fully tutored food making workshop.

Lichfield Dolls House Club (Courtesy of Jennifers of Walsall) - Furniture making workshop.

Aidan Campbell - Demonstration making in smaller scales.

Norman D. Whiting - Painting demonstration.

Jane Davies - informal sculpting tuition.
