Many thanks to both editors for these generous prizes.

The draw, to win a year's subscription to one of the magazines (either Dolls House & Miniature Scene or Dolls House World), will be made on 29th January 2018. To enter simply send an email to

Articles - Miniatures as Therapy
The latest in our series of articles focusses on how miniatures can help us through some of the hardest times in life.

"One of the undeniable benefits of any hobby is the ability to focus on just one thing and leave the world behind. When I asked for stories about miniatures as therapy I expected to hear about escapes from everyday stresses, finding a peaceful moment in a life of responsibilities, and that’s definitely the case for a lot of people. What I also received were some stories that were about far more than everyday events......." READ MORE

Jane Laverick has also given us a lovely article looking how, in her opinion, "Miniatura Is Good For You".

"I had an inkling that Miniatura was going to be good for me about thirty years ago when I realised that if I turned from a visitor into an exhibitor..." READ MORE

We would also love to hear from you if you have any interesting stories to share. The next article we have planned is an investigation of scale. We look at how different scales have risen in popularity. So if you would like to contribute to send Andy an e-mail - This email address is being protected from spambots. Plan your visit to Miniatura
Pictured is an exquisite cabinet made by Flavio Schiavo of Eleisa from Italy. They are returning to Miniatura after being away for ten years! We are delighted to see them back and they are just one of the special treats we have in store for you at the show. The Gallery pages on our website are now up to date with all the exhibitors. The next newsletter in March will be focussing on all the special features and highlights of the show but we thought we'd let you see Flavio's work as an early preview.

News - Free Prize Draw
Over the last few years we have offered prize vouchers for visitors to spend at the show and it's been a very popular way of letting the prize winner decide what they spend their money on, essentially "choosing" their prize. So to get ready for the next show we are giving away two £25.00 vouchers to spend at the Spring Miniatura.
The draw, to win one of two £25.00 vouchers to spend at the 70th Miniatura show, will be made on 28th February 2018. To enter simply send an email to
