DESCRIPTION

Rohit has been making 1/12th scale handcrafted furniture for the past five years. He has also been making full size furniture for the past fifteen years. He tries to remain as close to the original as possible. The styles made are Chippendale, Victorian, Edwardian, Louis XV, Regency and any other period can be worked on.

Rohit Makes a large variety of furniture from different periods like fireplaces, pianos, desks, cabinets, bookcases, rocking chairs, dining sets, toolboxes, tools, etc.. He also supplies the furniture hardware i.e. Hinges, knobs etc..

The rocking chair which was one of the first pieces he made is a scaled down version of the original swing rocking chair introduced to the furniture trade by the firm H & AG Alexander & Co. Ltd. of Eastfield, Rutherglen near Glasgow in the 1890's.
