Painted furniture has been present in many family homes throughout the centuries. It was a popular and affordable alternative to mahogany and walnut purchased by the wealthy. This furniture was of simple design but very practical. It was these features that prolonged it’s useful life, handed down through the generations or passed from wealthy home owners to their servants.
We use soft muted paint and subtle ageing processes to reflect the years’ of enjoyment these pieces of furniture have given their owners.
Our furniture is on display at the Dolls House Miniatures of Bath shop.
